Criticism
Some criticism is such a delight to those who welcome it. A friendly pointer here and there can keep a person on track to bring themselves towards perfection.
When it comes to criticism being heard in the middle of a process, it can be a formidable bother to one’s ear. Why is this? We are ambitious enough to try to strive for perfection ourselves. We indulgence ourselves in our own work...

"No Offense" is Offense.
To a certain point, “no offense” is taken as offense. One may have a great endorsement of their choice, but when a statement is followed by “no offense” the attitude of it can be changed from having pride to feeling shame for one’s self.
